Composition Where words fail, music speaks. - Hans Christian Andersen I believe that music can express emotions which cannot be described by mere words. There is a depth to human experience which requires an outlet, either by composing for one's own interest, or by listening to the works of others. I hope that the music I write provides a vehicle for the listener to explore those dimensions beyond the spoken language and written word. I believe that music can stand as a statement by itself, and can also enhance the presentation of other artistic disciplines. I have written for film, theater, and the performing arts. I am available for these types of projects, and for other projects such as art installations and gallery presentations. As a composer, I have experience in writing in various idioms from pop songs to extended contemporary pieces. I have written for soloists, small ensemble, and even big band. While I have not written for full orchestra, I am experienced in using electronic emulations, which plays a role in my production experience.
